Our team includes certified mediators training in using traditional mediation techniques to help groups resolve cultural differences and stay focused on their work.  This process involves interviewing key stakeholders prior to any intervention so as to determine the underlying causes of cultural collisions and possible solutions.  All speakers are given uninterrupted time to present their interests and concerns.  A list of problem areas is developed and the team has time to discuss possible options to resolve their differences.  This may include modifications in the work environment, new ways of working together, and options for managers and employees to signal when collaborations are growing unproductive.  Above all, options for change focus and the freedom for all individuals to verbalize difference – with grace, dignity, and respect.
